WHAT IS REFORMER PILATES?

A smarter way to build strength and move well.

Reformer Pilates uses a spring-based machine called a reformer to support and challenge your body through controlled, low-impact movement. The springs can be adjusted, so exercises can be made easier or harder to suit you.

It is not only for people who already exercise. The reformer gives support where you need it, which often makes it a comfortable place to start if you are new to movement, returning after a break, or working around stiffness or discomfort.

Sessions focus on strength, posture, mobility, control and confidence in how you move.

WHY LEARN WITH AMY

Reformer Pilates led by an osteopath.

Teaching Reformer Pilates was a natural next step for Amy. It lets her help people build strength safely, move better and understand their own bodies, using the same knowledge she draws on in clinic.

Taught by a registered osteopath

Amy is a registered osteopath, so every session is informed by a clinical understanding of the body.

Movement and rehabilitation knowledge

Amy works with movement mechanics and rehabilitation every day, and brings that experience onto the reformer.

Supportive, practical coaching

Sessions are designed to meet you where you are, with clear guidance and safe, steady progression.

IN THE STUDIO

Personal guidance in every session.

Sessions are kept supportive and attentive, with time to check technique and adjust exercises as you go.

Amy will guide you through each movement, explain what it is for and adapt the springs or the exercise so it works for your body. Progression is steady and deliberate, so you build strength and confidence without being pushed beyond what feels right.
